Excellent interview Jeff! You really brought it back around and kept it from being completely derailed. It was obvious that you were a little frustrated with him when he sabotaged you and kept running the Hot To Trot joke into the ground. I admire the finesse that it took on your part to level him out and actually get an insightful and heartfelt interview out of him. That took considerable skill.
I've been a fan of Bob's since the Bobcat/Tomcat days in SF in the 80s, but I thought he came off like a total d*ck. Maybe he was having a bad day, but I agree with the other commenter... you handled him perfectly and managed to get an amazing interview out of him. I've never listened to you before, and in the first 5 minutes, I didn't like your voice and was behind Bob the whole way, but by the end, I'm now a big fan of Mr. Goldsmith and thank him for the insightful interview with Bob. Great Interview!
